6 Month Pictures

Today we went and had Kaiden's 6 month pictures made. He did such a good job! We are so blessed to be parents of such a happy little boy! He looked so cute in his football sweater. We even brought along daddy's football and Kaiden's mini Harker Heights helmet! The pics turned out too cute =)

The past couple of weeks Kaiden has started saying "mama". I just love it! He says it all the time now. Teddy was just a little jealous that he hasn't said "Dada" yet, but he can't get over how cute it is when he says "mama" so that makes up for it =)

A week of 1st times for Kaiden....

This week was full of firsts for Kaiden!

He sat in a high chair at a restaurant for the first time. He did very well! We were able to keep him entertained the entire time that we were there! He looked like such a big boy!

He also had his first play date with Truett. Truett is the son of our friends Justin and Celeste. Truett will be 1 in a few weeks. He was so sweet to Kaiden! And Kaiden enjoyed all his toys!

Kaiden also tried out his swing at Grandma and Grandpa's house for the first time. He loved it! He loves being outside so much. He enjoyed swinging and watching the trees move in the wind. He was so relaxed he ended up falling right to sleep! Grandma and him are going to have so much fun with the new swing.
Also Kaiden started wearing pajamas to bed! I know this is an unusual first, but he has been wearing only a onesie to bed since he came home from the hospital! He is very hot natured. Since it is starting to get cooler at night we decided to starting putting him in his warm pj's. So far he seems to be enjoying the warmth =)

Kaiden is 1/2 a year old!

Wow how time flies! Everyone always says that children grow so fast, but until you have your own it's hard to really believe. Kaiden has brought so much joy to our family! We are enjoying every minute with him! These are a few pictures from this week.
I took these pictures after church this morning. Kaiden loves being outside! What a happy 6 month old boy!

Kaiden LOVES his jumperoo! He will jump for hours if we let him. It is hilarious to watch him in it- keeps us laughing!

Kaiden loves playing with Addison! (the dogs love playing with them too!) Addison is exactly one month older than Kaiden. She is sitting well by herself, as you can see Kaiden still needs a little help! He can sit by himself but he still loses balance when he reaches for a toy- he's almost there! The bumbo chair comes in handy for this.

We started letting Kaiden have a sippy cup after dinner to start getting him used to it. He doesn't really care for it so far! He does however like chewing on the spout. I think he will love it once he gets the hang of it!
