Bluebonnet pictures

After Kaiden's first Easter egg hunt last Saturday, my friend Emily and her family went with Kaiden and I to take Bluebonnet pictures. Teddy was out of town taking a test for his master's degree (which he made a 94 on by the way !). Kaiden was a little tired from all the excitement of the Easter egg hunt so we weren't able to get too many good pictures =) I will post pics from the Easter egg hunt once I get them uploaded.

What we have been up to lately....

Here are just a couple of random pics of Kaiden this morning. He climbed into the laundry hamper while I was getting ready this morning. He was so proud of himself!




Well this month has been a little crazy! Kaiden has been sick with a cold or virus almost the entire month. We are on our second round of antibiotics this month, and thankfully they seem to be working now. He has been feeling ALOT better the last couple of days! We are also still having to do breathing treatments which are not at all fun with our busy little boy! He HATES it! We have even tried doing it while he is asleep, but the machine is so noisy it wakes him up. Hopefully we can stop those by next tues- the dr said to do it for one more week at his appt this past tues.

We really enjoyed Spring Break a couple of weeks ago! I was off the entire week as well as Teddy. We did alot of spring cleaning around the house. We also took Kaiden to the Zoo! He loved it! We met my our friends Emily, Dallas and Emily's mom in Waco and had a fun filled morning at the Zoo. Dallas and Kaiden are about a month and a half apart in age. They were so much fun to watch at the zoo! The battery on my camera went dead so these were the only pics I took. Luckily Emily's mom took lots of pics and is making me a cd with them.... I will post more when I get the cd.

Teddy has been busy studying for tests and going out of town for tests for his master's degree. He is so ready to be done.... he will graduate in August. I am so proud of him for all his hard work and dedication! And he still manages to be the best husband and dad ever =)

I have just been busy working and taking care of my boys. I am on a mission right now to lose weight before our vacation in June. I just started a low carb diet this week.... we will see how long it lasts and have started working out again! Ill keep everyone updated on the progress!!

It's hard to believe, but yes our baby boy is ONE!! This has been such an exciting year for us! We are so blessed to be the parents of such a wonderful little boy. He makes us smile and laugh everyday! We love you so much Kaiden!!!

12 New things that Kaiden is doing these days:

1. He finally starting walking behind his push toys.
2. He tells us no by shaking his head. He does this VERY often!
3. He is now drinking only from a sippy cup, the bottle is history =)
4. He is drinking whole milk now---- we have a much cheaper grocery bill!
5. He loves to feed himself, he is a very independent little boy.
6. He makes up little games to play with Mommy and Daddy- he has quite the personality ;)
7. He LOVES his daddy!!
8. His favorite foods are bananas, scrambled eggs, cheese, bread of any kind, strawberries and yogurt.
9. He started going to Mommy's Day Out 2 days a week.
10. He LOVES to be outside. If he could live out there he would!
11. He has started talking alot more- Making sentences, not sure what he is saying though!!
12. The words we can understand are Mama, Dada, Nana, bye bye.

So Kaiden's favorite new thing to do is turn the water on in our bathtub while I am getting ready in the morning. He thinks it is the coolest thing ever! He loves to turn it off and on and put his hands under the water as it is coming out =) This boy LOVES water! I think we are going to have lots of fun swimming this summer!


Don't worry he is completely supervised at ALL times while doing this :)

Just wanted to post a few new pics of Kaiden. He was dressed up for church on Sunday and looked like such a big boy. AND he went to the church nursery for the 1st time and did great. We are so proud of him =) In just a little over a month he will be 1!

Fun day at the park

Today Teddy and I were both off for MLK Day. We decided to take advantage of the nice weather and go to the park with Kaiden. He loves to swing! He could do it for hours. We all had a fun time =)
